Super Bowl :35 Oysters Hawaii Shells Out Success

This Sunday’s Super Bowl isn’t just about football; it’s also a momentous occasion for Oysters Hawaii, a local oyster catering business poised to steal the spotlight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Special news from Island News

Oysters Hawaii Business

Oysters Hawaii, the state’s sole mobile oyster caterer, has skyrocketed in popularity over the past two years, serving up fresh oysters at weddings and events across the Hawaiian islands. With a workforce of 35 employees and a reputation for excellence, the company has set its sights on expanding beyond Hawaii’s shores.

“We’ve already expanded to Oahu and the neighboring islands. Now, we’re making waves in Las Vegas and soon in Los Angeles too. Our goal is to conquer the West Coast and beyond,” said Julie Chu Fieman, Chief Operating Officer of Oysters Hawaii, who founded the business with her sister and brother-in-law.

Their unique concept caught the attention of Sean Kinoshita, senior executive chef at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Kinoshita, himself a Hawaii native, was captivated by the idea.

“He thought the idea was amazing. Having been in the restaurant business for years, he said he’d never seen anything like it. With our Hawaiian roots and his support, we’ve become a staple at Raiders games. And now, we’re honored to be shucking oysters at the 50-yard line for the Super Bowl,” Julie exclaimed.

While their oysters hail from Seattle, it’s their homemade sauces infused with Hawaiian flavors that set them apart. “All of our sauces are made from premium ingredients sourced from Hawaii. Our smoked ponzu is a crowd favorite, and who knows, maybe one day you’ll find it on your local store shelves,” Julie shared.

As a former Miss Hawaii, Julie will be shucking oysters for VIPs in the private Champions Club during the Super Bowl. When asked about her dream guests, she mentioned Taylor Swift and Olivia Culpo, adding an extra dash of excitement to the event.

With the Super Bowl showdown looming, there’s a friendly rivalry brewing within the Oysters Hawaii family. “My sister, who competed at Miss USA alongside Gracie Hunt, is rooting for the Chiefs. Meanwhile, I’ve been a 49ers fan for years. It’s a sisterly showdown, but no matter the outcome on the field, Oysters Hawaii is poised to emerge as a big winner,” Julie concluded.

As fans gear up for the ultimate football spectacle, all eyes will be on Oysters Hawaii, ready to serve up a taste of the islands amidst the Super Bowl frenzy.
